Hope’s grandfather was a tailor, and her mom was an expert seamstress. She taught Hope to sew when she was 12 years old, and how to turn a yard of fabric into a skirt. In 1995, Hope and her mom took a quilting class together, and that inspired Hope to begin sewing quilts and other projects. She is a proud member of East Bay Heritage Quilters (EBHQ).
